Frame Foundry is a picture framing workshop based in Stoneybatter, Dublin 7, specialising in bespoke handcrafted frames. Using the finest of materials we frame fine art prints, paintings, photography, posters and jerseys. All framing requests are welcome!

At Frame Foundry we make 90% of our Mouldings. It gives us the freedom to achieve what we want when it comes to making a good frame. We use alot of hardwoods like Cherry, Ash, Oak, Beech, Ramin, Wenge, Iroko, Maple and Walnut. The softwoods we use are Tulip and Obeche. We design our frame profiles in CAD which then gets cut into a steel blade which moulds the timber to the desired profile. We also make Plinths, Crates, and what ever it takes to get the job done!

Our frames are finished in many different ways. For our sprayed frames we use lacquers, waterbased paints, shellac, Inks and other techniques
Our hand finished frames are gessoed, sprayed, waxed, buffed, polished, scratched, gold leafed, flame torched, limed, stained and antiqued.
